We took a tour with Ana and it all went perfectly. Ana offered us different options and was very mindful about our needs and our wishes. We have two dogs and she welcomed them as we wanted them to be with us for the tour. We went for a day trip to discover the Douro by train and boat and to visit à winery. We arranged a half day hike and lunch with Ana and we were blown away by the experience!  Hiking through the valley is a perfect way to experience the place, context and culture of this beautiful region. Ana was so knowledgeable about a broad range of topics so all questions you have will be answered!  She is also great company for a day of hiking and wine tasting. We had a fantastic day with Ana as our guide. Afterwards we had the most delicious and cozy lunch served by Ana and her parents in the community center, where we had local specialties and good wine, ending with cake and her father's amazing port wine. We had an amazing walking tour through the Douro Valley with Ana! This day truly stood out as one of the highlights of our entire visit in Portugal. Ana was wonderful! - very helpful, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories about the region’s history and its wine-growing traditions. We also learned about local olive and almond trees, which made the experience even more special. This was the highlight of our Portugal trip. We did the half-day walking tour. The most beautiful views, wine, food, and conversation. Ana was the most amazing guide.
